00I'm here to tell you about one of the coolest projects I've seen built out with open claw. Someone just built a system where you can literally talk to your AI agent and it will go and find a 3D model, modify that design, slice it for you in a printer, and start printing all from a simple chat message. No CAD software, no manual slicing, you just tell your agent what you want and it prints it out. This is insane and they have been open-sourced for quite some time. I'll put the link down below, you can check it out. So, I just saw this blow up on Reddit about 5 days ago. It was on the OpenAI subreddit with over 850 upvotes and 200 comments. And the title of the post was, "Finally, something useful with open claw." Haha. There's more than that, obviously, but
46just as a joke, which you know, I had to click on it because I've been running open claw for over a month now and I'm always looking for other people doing cool stuff in this community and what other people are building. This one stopped me. I had to read it and I wanted to know how it works. So, this person built a custom open claw skill and if you're not familiar with skills, think of them as like plugins or apps for your AI agent. They teach your agent how to do specific things. So, in short, this person built skills that connect to open claw and their entire 3D printing workflow. First skill is search, which is awesome. You tell your agent, "I need a phone stand." Or, "Find me a bracket for a Raspberry Pi case." The agent then searches the 3D model repositories like
32Printables and Thingiverse to find existing designs and it pulls up several options, shows you kind of what's available, and then it lets you pick the one that you want. The second skill is design modification. So, once you pick a model, you can tell your agent to change it. Make it 20% bigger, add a hole for a USB cable, round off the corners. And basically, the agent modifies the CAD file based on your instructions. This is insane. So, you don't need to open Fusion 360 or Blender or any of that, just natural language. Talk to the agent. Tell it what you want. So, this is literally taking your idea and making a physical reality. Wow. Third skill is slicing. So, for anyone who doesn't know, slicing is what you do before you
17can actually print something. So, you basically take a 3D model and then you convert it into instructions that are specific for your printer and what it understands. So, things like layer height, infill, supports, temperature, all that kind of stuff. This skill handles the entire slicing process automatically. It knows your printer, it knows the filament, and it dials in the settings for you. The fourth skill that makes this thing crucial is the actual printing. Your agent sends the sliced file to your 3D printer and then it starts the job. So, you could check on it throughout the chat as it's making progress. You can ask it, "How's my print going?" and it tells you the progress, the estimated time remaining, and if there's any issues. So, if you think about that for a second, you went
02from an idea in your head that no one can see to an actual physical project being manufactured and the whole thing happened through a conversation with an AI agent on your phone. This is insane, guys. I just don't know what to tell you. The things that are happening in the open claw community and space, it's so hard to keep up, but I wanted to make a video about this because there's a lot of designers in our community and there's several people that are building the same exact thing. So, let me tell you why I think that this matters beyond just being freaking amazing is that because it's not just about the 3D printing, it's a bigger picture. This is a pattern. This is what the future of open claw skills looks like. Real quick, before we keep going, if you're watching this and you want to actually build with
48some of these tools, >> [music] >> not just watch videos about them, then you're going to want to check out our community down below, Shipping School. We have a full cloud code course, a full open claw course, and four live bootcamps every single week where we actually help you get set up from scratch. Like actually set this thing up, not just watch a tutorial and figure it out by yourself. And we also provide one-on-one coaching, so you could book a call with me, we could share screens, and I can help you get cloud code or open claw running on your machine. That's it, no fluff. I built this community because watching YouTube's only gets you so far. We launched it just 3 days ago and we have over 55 members. You need people around you who are actually building, people who hold you accountable, and coaches who can
34help you when you get stuck. I'll put the link in the description down below. Get in now before the price goes up. Right now, most people think open claw as a chatbot. I mean, it's way deeper than that. You talk to it, it responds, maybe it searches the web or manages your calendar. Whoop-de-doo. And that's what people were saying. They'd said, "I don't see the difference between open claw and ChatGPT." You're missing the whole point. And that's fine. Whatever. That's useful to an extent, but the skills change everything. Skills let your agent interact with the physical world, not just the digital world, which is why I took my content machine, how I've been able to pump out six, eight, 10 videos a day and hundreds of shorts every other day, is because I took the skill that I've worked on for 40 days and wrapped it up for people to have
20content on autopilot. Same type of idea, but different niche type, you know? We're trying to automate people's content. This is more for automating physical products. So, if you think about what else you could control through open claw skills, it's like, what else could you build? So, your smart home, your security cameras, maybe your irrigation system, your CNC machine, your laser cutter, basically anything that an API or a network connection can build on. So, basically, you could build a skill for it and let your AI agent control it through conversation. That's why in our community call yesterday, I told people that if you are highly skilled in a specific niche, robotics, cooking, fitness, take what you know and turn it into a skill that your AI agent can then
07do for you. So, you have like a carbon copy of yourself. There's people in the community that are super smart that they just need to package what they know into a skill and hand it off to the agent so it could replicate what you're trying to do. So, if you're good at content or good at marketing, take what you know and dump it into a skill file and then give it to your agent. I highly recommend using Opus 4.6 for a lot of this work. It's just the best frontier model, it's one of the smartest model. It does cost a lot, but I think the output is completely worth it. So, backing up to what really excites me about this is the person who built the 3D printer skill isn't just some AI researcher at Google, they're at a regular person like you and me who uses 3D printers and basically got tired of
52the manual workflow. They knew the problem because they live in the problem and they used open claw skills to build the system and build the solution. Does that sound familiar? So, that's exactly what we talk about in Shipping School and in the community. You don't need to be a developer to build this kind of stuff. Just get that out of your mind right now. You need need to understand a problem and know how to use the tools to fix the solution or to bring the solution, right? So, I want to connect this to what's happening in the broader open claw ecosystem because the timing of this is pretty crazy. There's so much happening right now. We now have 32 real use cases documented in our database on shippingschool.com. go bookmark that, by the way, so you can refer to. Every day we put pull new use cases to that
39landing page and you can see the original source and see what people are using open claw for to make money. So, this isn't just hypothetical, this is real things real people built. An AI newsroom that I made a video for the other day runs on $5 a month, helps uh scrape trends from the internet, uh a Grafana bugging a Grafana debugging plugin for DevOps engineers, a content system that auto posts to Reddit, Twitter, LinkedIn. Someone replaced six AI apps with a single WhatsApp agent. A doctor replaced his virtual assistants. And yesterday at Nvidia's conference, Jensen Huang announced Nemo Claw. That should break your brain right there because this is going so fast, it's hard to keep up. An enterprise agent platform inspired by open claw. That's what Nemo
25Claw solves. Nvidia, a trillion-dollar company, and is the biggest company in the world, $4.3 trillion valuation, and open claw community is building and said, "We need to be part of this." That's validation at the highest level. So, if you're haven't built with open claw yet or haven't even started down this rabbit hole, you know, it's okay. You're not too late. You're just getting started, you're watching this video. I recommend downloading it for free and start playing around with it. So, basically, when I see someone build a 3D printer skill for open claw, I don't just think, "Oh, you know, that's great." This is one of the kind One of the first things that I've seen taking something that produces physical products using open claw. I think that, you know, this is basically entering into a skills commu- a com- skills
10economy. Sorry, but skills economy, basically going from software as a service to agents as a service. And your agents need to have skills. Otherwise, it's going to just produce very generic, bland content and outputs. So, this is what's coming, an entire marketplace of skills that let AI agents interact with every tool. Check out clawhub.ai or shopclawmart for references. You do want to be careful with skills out there. What I highly recommend and tell people to do is basically, you know, go look for a skill that you like and then ask your agent about it and see what your agent thinks, you know? See if it's safe to even download. So, basically, every device, every platform you use, agents are coming and people building those skills right now are going to be
55the ones who benefit the most. If you look at felix.ai, that person made that agent 2 weeks ago and it's generated over $200,000 in revenue. So, I'll tell you about ClawHub for a second cuz ClawHub is kind of like the OG original where skills are born. It's basically a marketplace for open claw. It's like an app store but for agent capabilities. Right now it's still early but imagine a world where you want your AI agent to control your 3D printer. Well, you go on the ClawHub and search 3D printing, install the skill, and your agent can now do everything I just described. That's where this is headed. And if you're a builder, that should excite you. This is a massive opportunity not just to make money and capitalize in the growth of this AI economy, but to learn new skills yourself. Learn how to
41understand how AI agents work and learn how to set this up through the orchestration and how you want it to run in your personal life and in your business. Think about the skills people need. You know, like real estate agents for example, they need showing schedulers, restaurants they need reservation managers, contractors need estimate generators, farmers need irrigation controllers. Every industry has workflows that could be automated through an open claw skill. I actually have one of our shipping school members, Vince, who's prototyping and he's a prototype machinist in the Bay Area and he's already building something similar for CNC machines. Taking S CSV files from Fusion 360, pulls the tool data and cutting parameters all through an AI agent. The machining industry is and I'm
27quoting Vince here full of cranky old tradesmen resistant to tech. That sounds like every old industry stuck in time and stuck in tradition. The paradigm shift is happening. Everything is about to change. How we used to do things is completely changing and the opportunity is huge. And basically Vince is building all of his project vibe coding it. No computer science degree, no domain knowledge and open claw is just getting it done. Another member, George, sells his medical microscopes $50 to $200,000 each and he used to manually search grant sites and Twitter to find potential leads. He basically got his Mac mini on Monday and by Thursday he had a landing page and a way to outreach to these potential clients. Hours of work every day that he used to spend,
12now he's building that open claw agent to do it automatically. Find the grants, find the researchers, surface the leads. That's a skill that every medical device salesperson in the country could use. Here's the thing about the 3D printing project specifically, they open sourced it. The whole thing is on GitHub. So, if you have a 3D printer, you could go and install these skills right now and start printing them from chat. More importantly, you could study how they built the skills and use that as a blueprint for building your own skills for whatever you're working on. So, I've been building my own skills for my AI agent crew now. We have 12 agents on our team and they seem to be expanding every single week. But, my first agent that we made was Ghostface. This is the Intel agent and he has skills for scraping
58trends specifically from Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, Facebook pages. We got Method Man for his skills for clipping YouTube videos and adding Mr. Beast style captions. We have the Rizza which is basically for outlines and scripting videos and helping me with thumbnail design. So, basically Rizza searches supermemory.ai and as well as Neon which is our database in the cloud for relevant data as well. Basically every agent in the Wu-Tang pipeline has specialized skills. That's what makes this so powerful. Your agent is only as useful as its skills. A base open claw install is like having a really smart employee who doesn't know anything about your specific business. Once you add
45skills, you're teaching that employee exactly how to do the job. Your way, your tools in your industry. Now, here is something I want to be really clear about. When I first saw the Reddit post, the top comment was, "Finally, something useful with open claw." And a lot of people in the comments were saying similar things like they'd been waiting for someone to build something tangible, something you can actually touch and hold. And I get that frustration. A lot of AI demos are just chatbots talking to chatbots, super annoying, and it can feel like the tech bubble. And it can feel like a real big tech bubble at times. But, here's what I think those commenters are missing. The people in this community, the ones who are actually building every day, they've been making useful things this whole time. It just doesn't get the same
31attention as a 3D printer because I automated my email triage doesn't get as excite much as excitement as a 3D printer project. It's cool because it's visual and physical. I get it. But, the pattern behind it is using open claw skills to automate complex multi-step workflows. That's been happening for months. So, if you take one thing away from this video, let it be this. Stop thinking about open claw as a chatbot and start thinking about it as a platform for building intelligent automations that connect to everything in your life, your business, and whatever you want it to do. The 3D printer is just the beginning. I mentioned open claw just opening up a funding program where you actually can get up to $1.4 million
16to build a startup on the platform. Public comments close April 6th. So, if you're interested in funding, you might want to check that out. All of the sources are going to be linked down below because I've been getting a lot of comments where they're saying, "You're lying. Where's the sources?" Well, I had my AI agent. I kind of had a little chat with my AI agent and I told him I've had like 40 comments of people complaining about me not putting the source in the description. Now, we have every single verified source in every single description. So, when you hear me talking about something, make sure you check the description because there's going to be all the sources. You're welcome. Actually, thank you to the Rizza. Thank you, Rizza. Appreciate you doing the work. So, if you have a skill idea that solves a real problem, that could be your startup. Someone turned a simple open claw wrapper into $37,000 in
01revenue. What could you build? What do you want? If you want to learn how to build this stuff, how to create open claw skills, how to vibe code in general, and turn your ideas into real products, that's what we do in Shipping School. 76 builders right now in 8 days, live calls 4 days a week, and Monday we build together. Wednesday we help beginners. Friday we ship and roast each other's work. Tuesday is a building call. So, it's a real community with real people building actual real things. Links in the description or just go to shippingschool.com and get in before the price goes up because we are growing at an insane rate. I hope this inspired you to think bigger about what's possible with AI agents. We're not talking about replacing jobs anymore. We're talking about getting regular people superpowers. A guy can now 3D print
46anything he could describe in words. That's the future and we're living in it. And it's an amazing time to make that actually happen. You don't need millions of dollars, you don't need a team of engineers, you don't need you need an idea, some domain knowledge, and the willingness to sit down and learn and build. That's it. So, you should go build something. Stop watching this video, fire up Claude code, and start breaking and building. I believe in you. So, if you guys are not subscribed already, please do so and hit the bell icon cuz we have videos coming up four to six times a day and I just don't want you to miss the next release. We'll see you in the next one. Have a blessed day.
