00One of the most common things people want to build is an AI trading bot, and I get it. I understand. But the thing is that there is a lot of hype around AI agents and building an automated trading bot. Well, I found one of the first real use cases for building out a trading bot using Open Claw. I have it linked down below. And in this video, we're going to be going over how this guy built it and how he's making money with Open Claw. So, you know, I couldn't stop thinking about it when I came across this because it tells you something real about just where AI is right now and what it actually enables for regular people, especially if you have no trading experience. Here's what happened exactly. Someone had posted in the Vibe Coding subreddit. The title was basically started building an AI trader

45from scratch 2 days ago, spent all night tweaking it, and decided to do a test run. And that's the title. You should check it out. Just go read it. He basically said it felt ballsy, so he had risked $100 per trade, and in just 9 minutes of testing it, it won 27 straight trades. Made over $2,200. He had to turn it off quick just so he could process what had actually happened. Then, here's my favorite part is they said they're going to take most of the 2,200 and give it to their mom because she's been struggling financially. You know, that's just the cherry on top. I love that and just the fact that how fast he made $2,200 and he can actually legitimately help his mom. That's awesome. Just basically off of a random test using AI. You know, I'm

30going to be straight up. You know, I've seen a lot of AI posts about trading bots and everything, but this one just felt more real, you know, actual proof. Not just because of the $2,200, but because of the 2 days. You know, 2 days from zero to working on autonomous trading system that made, you know, over $2,000 in 9 minutes. You know, it's not a senior quant developer with years of experience in financial systems. It's just some guy. He didn't have a team. He's not someone with a computer science degree. It's just one person. Two days and a couple all-nighters and a test launch. That is what Vibe Coding actually is. It's not a gimmick. I know it's just a fancy term people, you know, spin around and really no one really knows what it actually means, but it's not a shortcut for lazy people. Let's just say that. It's a genuine unlock for

17regular people like you and me who have ideas and the drive to test. The barrier between I have an idea and I have a working product that does the idea has basically gone to zero. Like you can build AI apps now. You could build a trading bot with no experience. So, there's still effort required. That's the thing. I think people think Vibe Coding and getting into this AI space is a way to make easy money and not work. That's absolutely further from the truth. But, you know, he basically took what this guy did. Real quick, before we keep going, if you're watching this and you want to actually build with some of these tools than just watch videos about them, then you're going to want to check out our community down below, Shipping School. We [music] have a full Claude code course, a full Open Claw course,

02and four live bootcamps every single week where we actually help you get set up from scratch. Like actually set this thing up. Not just watch a tutorial and figure it out by yourself. And we also provide one-on-one coaching, so you could book a call with me. We could share screens and I can help you get Claude code or Open Claw running on your machine. That's it. No fluff. I built this community because watching YouTube's only gets you so far. We launched it just 3 days ago and we have over 55 members. You need people around you who are actually building, people who hold you accountable, and coaches who can help you when you get stuck. I'll put the link in the description down below. Get in now before the price goes up. And it collapsed it down into just 2 days worth of work to actually

47make money, which used to be impossible for people without any type of technical background. This person is not a professional trader, too. They are just a builder on the Vibe Coding subreddit. That's the detail that matters the most. I'm going to break down what likely went into building this because I think there's a real lesson here about the process that works when using AI agents to build something complex like a trading bot. The first thing they probably did was define the strategy. So, what are the rules a trader follows? What are the signals to look for? What does it buy? When does it sell? When does it stop? So, this is the part where most people give up before they even start because they think they need to know about finance to build a trading system, but you don't. You need to know what you want the system to do. And the AI figures out how to do the building, right? And how to implement it

32technically. So, you basically describe the strategy in plain language. Maybe something like buy when this indicator crosses above this line or sell when it drops below the threshold. Stop out the position if it goes down a certain percentage. Normal human logic. You don't need to know how to write the code that implements it in Python or with the right brokerage API and the right data to feed and the right libraries. You describe what you want, the agent writes it. Then you spend the all-nighter they mentioned. Not coding, but just tweaking the system. You run the system, it does something unexpected, you tell the agent what's wrong, the agent fixes it, you test it again, and you find another edge case. And then you fix that. You basically refine the entry conditions, you tighten the stop loss, you add a

17fail-safe if you had not thought of that before. That's the iterative loop is the real work, right? Not programming dialogue. You're having a conversation with your agent about how the system should behave, and it keeps getting better. And then you launch, you know, maybe with $100 per trade, which is real money, but a controlled test amount. And this person, you know, 9 minutes later with 24 straight consecutive wins, $2,200. I personally would just take the paper trading approach just to verify and test that it actually is profitable before you're spending real money. But, I want to be straight up, you know, what this story is and what it is not. It's not a quick way to just get rich overnight. That's why you see so much content around AI trading bots and Open Claw and AI agents going viral right

02now. But are they actually making money on a consistent basis? That's what you need to be careful about. You know, I'm not telling you to go build a trading bot and retire, even though that could be possible in the future. I just feel like it's not quite there yet. Trading is one of the hardest things to do in the world consistently over time. I mean, the failure rate of being a professional trader, whether you're a day trader or a swing trader or a long-term investor, is very rare. Like 99% fail. So, markets are adversarial. You know, what works in one market condition at one time may not work in another. So, it's difficult and there's a lot of emotions that go into it. But just the fact that this person won 24 straight trades in 9 minutes in that window is a pretty cool result. Most

48trading systems don't do that. Most professional traders don't do that. I mean, 24 straight wins. The person knew this, too, which is why they turned it off immediately. You know, they didn't let it run. They didn't go all in. They're not naive. They're a builder who ran a test and got a pretty cool result and then processed it appropriately. That's very smart. What I want you to take from this is exact story is not to build a trading bot. The lesson is about what you can build now that you could not build a few years ago. The trading bot is just an example. It's just the container the story came. So, if you think about the kinds of systems that used to be gated by programming skills, custom automation workflows, data pipelines, API integrations, or analytics dashboards, bots that can

34monitor things and take action based on conditions, and tools that can connect services that didn't normally talk to each other. Like scheduling systems or inventory trackers. All of this used to require a developer. Either you were the developer or you hired one or you went without. And nowadays, a developer, the cost is going to zero. I'm sorry to say. Stone me if you want to, but you don't need a developer to build out your idea anymore. The developer's AI and you are the one who knows what the system should do. That's actually more valuable than half of the equation. The what has always been more valuable than the how. Always. The problem was that knowing what you wanted was not enough on its own. You also had to know how to build it or have access to someone who did. AI

19removed that whole requirement. This person on the Vibe Coding subreddit knew what they wanted. An AI that trades in a certain way. They did not know how to build it from scratch, but they did not need to. They described what they wanted. They spent 2 days iterating with an AI coding agent and had something working. Something that made real money in its very first test. That's the game right now, guys. That's what building public actually looks like in the 2026 season. It's the thing that I keep coming back to. You know, they made $2,200 in 9 minutes, and the first thing that they thought about was their mom struggling financially. That's not a post written by someone trying to impress people. That's just a real person who built something real and immediately thought about how to use the money to help someone they love. And that detail matters most and it tells

06you who is actually building with AI right now. Not just tech people, but just real people like you and me. You know, the broader pattern is this. There's a whole community of people in that subreddit who are building things like this right now. You know, autonomous systems, trading agents, content pipelines, customer service bots, research tools, everything. Like inventory management systems, things that used to require entire engineering teams are being built by solo founders in days. And the quality is good enough to actually work. To actually produce results. I just say the question I always ask about stories like this is this repeatable? If you're struggling to keep up with content, well, I'm about to save you about 40 days [music] worth of work. I built something called Content Machine. It's 10 AI agents that run on

51the Open Claw orchestration and they handle everything. Scripts, thumbnails, X posts, blogs, outreach, clips, newsletters, all of it. So, I went from 1,000 subscribers to 4,000 subscribers on YouTube in 7 days using this exact system. Every single morning, I wake up and the content's already done. I spend maybe 15, 20 minutes reviewing and approving them, and I move on with my day. It works for any niche, fitness, [music] finance, real estate, marketing, whatever you're building, and it is a 100% completely customizable to your use case. So, you get the mission control dashboard, all of the cron jobs, everything I've built over the last 40 days helping me gain more and more

36people to subscribe and join the community. So, you plug in your own thing, and it molds it to you. It learns how you talk, and it writes so it doesn't sound like AI slop. $97 one time, it's not a subscription. I'll put the link down below, and you'll thank me later. The answer is yes, with the right caveat. The repeatable part is the process. Define clearly what you want, start simple, iterate with the agent, and then test with small stakes. Expand what works. The specific result, 24 wins in 9 minutes, is not something you can plan on. But, the ability to go from idea to a working system in a couple days, that's reproducible. That's the skill to develop here, not the coding, not knowing which libraries to use. Who cares? The skill of knowing what to

22build and being able to describe it clearly enough that your AI agent can help you build it. That's what matters most. That is the skill to refine. Here is what I would actually do if I wanted to try to build my own type of system like this for a domain that I know. So, pick a domain where you have real knowledge. Trading works for someone who understands how markets move, obviously. But, the same pattern works for everything. You understand e-commerce? Build a repricing agent that monitors your competitors and adjust your prices. You understand content? Build an agent that monitors trending topics and drafts posts while they're still fresh. You understand local business? Build an agent that monitors and reviews sites and draft responses. The key is that your domain knowledge is the input, and it is the most valuable skill that

08exists because only you have it. You have 20 years of HVAC experience? You have 50 years of working on a roof? Use it. Build out an agent with that because only you have that experience and skill and knowledge. You bring the what should this do? The agent builds the how do we actually do it? You don't need to know. The agent does. Start with the simplest possible version, too. Don't try to build the full thing in one day. Build the thing that does the core action, the hero feature. Test it, see if it actually works, then add the layers. That's how this person did it in 2 days. All night, small tests, and then the real results. That's the loop. Keep on iterating. And use OpenClaw for this. Set up a workflow where your agent can run code, call APIs, and then loop back on the results, and then give it a clear

54task. Let it iterate, review what it builds, and then tweak the spec as you go. And then just keep running it again until it works. You can get a working product prototype like faster than you think. Go read the Reddit post. I'll put the link in the description. Spend some time in that community. Generally, it's a good way to just learn what people are doing, and it's one of the most honest places to see what people are actually building with AI right now. Real projects, real results, and real lessons learned. And we built a community on Vibe Coding and OpenClaw agents and agentic workflows. I launched that community 27 days ago. We have 260 members, and we do nine boot camp calls every single week from OpenClaw boot camps to roast your product boot camps to beginner Q&A to how to run local model boot camps. I'll put the link to it down below, and yeah, like I said, we

41have nine calls a week. We also have some courses in there as well. And we appreciate you guys. If you haven't subscribed already, please do. I release two to four to six videos a day covering AI news and OpenClaw use cases. We'll see you in the next one. Have a blessed day.
