00I'm going to talk about a solo founder who replaced his $2,000 a month sales tech stack with one open claw agent running for pennies on the dollar. So, total cost, about $20 a month in API cost fees, and it does everything this $2,000 a month program did. Completely. Inbox monitoring, prospect research, personalized cold outreach, things like meeting prep, and all of that automated with open claw. So, if you're a small business owner and solopreneur like me, and you want to get better at sales, and maybe you've built amazing product, but don't know how to get your first customers, you're going to want to pay attention because this has 100% to do with the open claw ecosystem on how you can really build out an AI agent within

45your open claw that does sales for you 24/7. So, if you've been paying for like Apollo or Outreach or ZoomInfo, these are expensive sales tools, you're going to want to pay attention to this one because the game is over for them. Here's the backstory. This guy has been building sales systems for small businesses for a while. He's kept seeing the same problem over and over again. These small businesses, maybe they're doing a couple hundred thousand a year in revenue, and they're paying $500 to $2,000 a month just for sales software. Apollo for prospecting, Outreach for email sequences, ZoomInfo for contact data, maybe some LinkedIn Sales Navigator on top of all that. And that's before you even pay someone to actually

30run these tools. So, he had this idea, what if I could take my open claw and replicate that core functionality of all of these tools in one agent? And that's exactly what he did. So, I'm going to walk you through his setup and what he built because it's really impressive. The first thing is his inbox monitoring system. The open claw agent watches his email inbox throughout the day, and it's not just checking for new messages, it's actually analyzing the content and flagging anything that looks like a warm lead or reply that needs a immediate attention. So, instead of him scanning through 200 emails every morning trying to figure out which ones actually matter, the agent does that sorting for him, and then it highlights the three or four messages that actually need a response. So, if you think about how much time that saves, I don't know about

15y'all, but the email's one of the things that just eats up your day, and if you're doing that every single morning, it's you're going to get burnout. Real quick, before we keep going, if you're watching this and you want to actually build with some of these tools, not just watch videos about them, you're going to want to check out our community down below, Shipping School. We have a full Claude code course, a full open claw course, and four live bootcamps every single week where we actually help you get set up from scratch. Like actually set this thing up, not just watch a tutorial and figure it out by yourself. And we also provide one-on-one coaching, so you could book a call with me, we could share screens, and I can help you get Claude code or open claw running on your machine. That's it, no fluff. I built this community because watching

01YouTube's only gets you so far. We launched it just 3 days ago, and we have over 55 members. [music] You need people around you who are actually building, people who hold you accountable, and coaches who can help you when you get stuck. I'll put the link in the description down below. Get in now before the price goes up. So, you basically sit down, you check real quick before you even know, and by the time you get through it all, it's several hours have gone by. Your agent can do this for you where you wake up to money-making activities rather than the redundant tasks that you do every single day. The agent eliminates this problem entirely. The second thing is the prospect research. This is where it gets pretty cool is he describes his ideal customer in plain English. Something like HVAC companies in the Chicago

46suburbs with a website and a phone. And the agent goes out, it pulls the data from Google Maps and other public sources, it cleans it up, refines it, deduplicates it, and gives it back to him in an organized list of prospects he can actually reach out to. No more paying for ZoomInfo at $200 a month. No more manually searching Google Maps and copying contact information into a spreadsheet. The agent does all that for him in the background. You can even take this another step because Nvidia just released their text-to-speech model that is super impressive. You do need some pretty beefy hardware to host this local voice model, but they just released it the other day, it's open source. I'll put a link to that in the description as well cuz in my opinion, to make it even a step better, I would have my agent

31calling these prospects. And now voice has gotten so much better to where it doesn't sound like an actual AI robot. That's how I would take that next step. The third thing he did was more personalized outreach, and I want to emphasize the word personalize here because this isn't just mail merge with someone's first name slapped into it all. The agent actually visits each prospect's website, checks their LinkedIn if it's available, and then writes a custom first touch email based on what it finds. It references specific things about their business. Not just generic, I noticed your company does fishing poles, and I thought we could connect. That's total garbage and AI slop, which is why it's so important to create a voice profile if you are doing cold outreach or writing emails or any kind of copy. You want to use your own data, your own training data, whether

17it's through voice or previous Zoom calls or YouTube videos to train how your agent can talk in your voice to avoid the AI slop generic content. And the difference between what he had going on and where his agent is actually producing, you know, like between cold email and things that get ignored. So, basically he dialed in his agent to produce well-written emails. And that's the difference between cold email that gets ignored by everyone and cold email that actually gets replies. The personalization touch. You want it to stand out. And doing that manually for even 20 prospects can take hours. The agent did it for hundreds of people within seconds. Fourth thing is the meeting prep. So, before any sales call, the agent automatically pulls together

02like basically a collection of the person's background. Like everything, the key points of getting to know the person and really diving deep into who he's trying to make a sale to. You know, like things like his LinkedIn profile, recent news about their company, any job postings that they've had open, which tells you about their priorities, and you know, their tech stack if it's visible. All of this gets compiled into a brief that he can read in 30 seconds instead of spending 15 minutes doing that research manually before every single call. So, add it all up. Inbox monitoring, prospect research, personalized outreach, that meeting prep, and that's basically an entire sales stack that small businesses are paying thousands of dollars a month for. And this guy has it all running on one Mac Mini sitting in his house. Now, I'm

48going to talk about the cost because this is where it I love it. Like 20, 30 bucks a month in API calls, yeah, sign me up. The sales tool he was recommending to his clients before was Apollo, and that's about $100 a month per user. Outreach is like another hundred to $150 per seat. ZoomInfo, that can easily run about $400 a month for a small team plan. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, probably another hundred a month. And if you add it all up, you're looking at 500 to $2,000 a month just depending on what level you're at within those products. And that's not even counting the time it takes to manage all of those different tools and make them work together. His open claw setup, $20, $30 a month in API costs on a Mac Mini he already owned. That's it. That's the

33whole cost, and it runs from one interface, one agent, one conversation in Telegram or Slack or wherever he wants to talk to. Now, he did share some things he learned the hard way, and I think that these are super valuable for anyone thinking about doing and building something similar. The first thing is his skills are everything. You know, don't try to prompt your way through complex workflows. He said the difference between using the right open claw skills versus just trying to get the base agent to figure out what it is night and day. You know, you got to have the right skills first, and you can't just prompt, especially if you're using like Opus or Sonnet, don't expect it to just do it all. Your agent needs the specific skills. That's why there's about 40,000 of them on Claude. The skills that do what you need or write your own. That's important. You can

18download skills if you want, I don't. I basically just take the link of the skill that I want and give it to my agent, have it recreate that skill. It's much safer. But the thing is is you know, this is this matches to exactly what I've been telling people in our community. The skills ecosystem is what makes open claw powerful. It's not just the base agent, it's what you actually give your The second thing is start with the workflow. And start with one, and get it solid before you try to add more. This is a big problem in the whole ecosystem is everyone wants to build everything at once. Start with one agent and focus on it working for weeks, and then start building it out cuz you'll start building everything out at once, and then things will break, guaranteed. The guy also said he made the mistake of trying to set up inbox monitoring, prospecting, and outreach, and meeting

03prep all at once, and it was a complete mess. Everything broke, nothing worked right. So, he stepped back, got inbox monitoring working perfectly first, and then he added the prospect research, then outreach, and later the meeting prep. One at a time, layer by layer. This is huge. You know, that's the advice I give to everybody who's getting started with open claw. Don't try to build the whole thing at once. Get one workflow working. Prove it out for at least a few days, and then add the next one. Then you can add on after Before you know it, you've got a system that handles everything. The third thing is the quality of your outreach depends entirely on how well you define your ideal customer up front. Garbage in, garbage out. If you just tell the agent, find me businesses to sell to, you're going to get a garbage result. Like if you say, hey, HVAC companies in the

48Chicago suburbs with a website and phone number between five and 15 employees that don't have a clear online booking system yet, the agent knows exactly what to look for. The more specific your input is, that's going to result in a better output. So, don't be generic. Be specific. The fourth thing is, and this one's a very important, is the security. Lock down your API keys. Use environment variables folder. And don't give the agent access to folders and files it doesn't need. You're giving this thing access to your email. You're giving it access to prospect data. You need to be smart about how you set up those permissions. This is something I talk about all the time in the community. Be careful with what you give your agents access to. Set up guardrails and stay in your lane. If you're struggling to keep up with content, what I'm about to save

34you about 40 days worth of work. I built something called Content Machine. [music] It's 10 AI agents that run on the Open Claw orchestration, and they handle everything. Scripts, [music] thumbnails, X posts, blogs, outreach, clips, newsletters, all of it. So, I went from 1,000 subscribers to 4,000 subscribers on YouTube in 7 days using this exact system. Every single morning I wake up [music] and the content's already done. I spend maybe 15-20 minutes reviewing and approving them, and I move on with my day. It works for any niche, fitness, finance, real estate, marketing, whatever you are building, and it is 100% completely customizable to your [music] use case. So, you get the

19mission control dashboard, all of the cron jobs, everything I've built over the last 40 days helping me gain more and more people to subscribe and join the community. So, you plug in your own thing and it molds it to you. It learns how you talk and it writes so it doesn't sound like AI slop. $97 one-time. It's not a subscription. I'll put the link down below, and you'll thank me later. Here's where I want to connect this back to the bigger picture. Because this isn't just one guy's cool side project. This is a pattern that's repeating across thousands of businesses right now. There was a thread on Reddit just last week where someone posted about using Open Claw for lead scoring and outbound for $80 a month total. Another founder on X posted that he literally replaced $200,000 a year in a go-to-market hire within his company

04with an Open Claw agent. And that post went semi-viral, thousands of retweets. And here's the thing that I keep coming back. We're living in a time where a solo founder with a Mac Mini and 20 bucks a month in API costs can have the same sales infrastructure as a company with a 10-person sales team. That's crazy. You have so much power at the tip of your fingertips. If you just get off the bench, stop watching from the sidelines, and start working with AI agents. Whether it's a sales team, automating some part of your business, and that's why I bring up stories and use cases like this because we can learn a lot on how we can leverage AI to grow our business. The tools have been democratized. The playing field has never been lower, and it's time to get in the game. This is what gets me fired up about what we're building inside of our community. We have 201 members that

51have just joined in the last 20 days. And the people in our community, they're not just learning about AI for fun. They're serious. They're learning to build it and build with AI and build real businesses. They're the ones who hear a story like this and think, "I could set this up for my business, or I could set this up for other businesses and charge for it." Absolutely. Start an agency if you have to. And some of them are already doing it. So, if you think about it, you learn how to set up Open Claw, and you set up your sales agent. You go to a small business in your area, like landscaping companies or HVAC companies, plumbers, whatever, roofers, real estate agents. That's a good example. So, anyone who's doing sales outreach, basically. Say, "I could give you a fully automated sales assistant for $500 a month that does everything you're currently paying for that you're charging $2,000 a month, and get it done

36more faster, efficient, and better results." That's an easy sell and a no-brainer. And here's what's beautiful about it all is once the agent is set up and running, your maintenance time is so minimal. Maybe a few hours a month to check on things, update the skills, adjust the prompts as the client needs change. But, you know, your time investment drops, but the monthly recurring revenue stays the same. And that's reoccurring revenue. That's a dream. So, I'm going to just tell you up front is like when I first heard about this use case, I thought about our own business. We do about $200,000 a month on Whatnot. It's a live selling platform, and we're always looking for new sourcing leads and new partnership opportunities. The idea of having an agent that scans the market and finds opportunities and puts together briefs for us is insane. This had just happened

21last week when we sell Lululemon, North Face, Patagonia. I was able to get in contact to where all the second-hand clothing goes for those big major brands. It was able to find and outreach to people on LinkedIn, talk to the CEO, and get their email, and send an email. They got a response within 5 minutes, and actually booked a Calendly link call with their CEO to be able to get into partnership for this domestic source. That's the power that we have right now, and I didn't have to go out and do this. That's just an example of backstory of how I'm using it for my resale business. So, here's what I want you to take away from this. You know, the expensive sales tech stack that used to be reserved for companies with real budgets, it's not exclusive anymore. One person with one Open Claw agent can replicate the core

06functionality of tools that cost thousands of dollars a month. I could use GoHighLevel, for example. Someone in our community came on a call yesterday and basically rebuilt GoHighLevel tailored for his insurance company. There's that saves $100 a month right there. You could build that out as well. You know, we're not just talking, we're talking about a different approach that in many ways is better because everything runs through one unified system if you go ahead and build out your own system. Instead of depending on different platforms and jumping around, and they don't even talk to each other. If you're paying for Apollo right now, you know, if you're paying for Outreach or ZoomInfo, just take a step back and ask yourself, "Could I build this out with Open Claw, and can an agent handle this?" For a lot of small businesses, the answer is absolutely yes. And the money you can save can go right back into actually growing the business. And

52if you want to learn to build these kind of systems and actually run them in your own business, that's what we do every single day in our community. Eight live calls a week. We have a beginners call, we have a social media call, we have Open Claw specific calls, and we'd love to see you there. I'll put a link to that down below. And if you haven't subscribed to the channel already, please do so cuz we release videos just like this about four to six times a day. We'll see you in the next one. Have a blessed Easter. Bye-bye.
