In this video I build Stop The Slop, a web app that takes AI-written drafts and rewrites them so they sound like you wrote them. I go from a validated idea to a working MVP in Google AI Studio with Gemini 3.5 Flash in about 20 to 30 minutes, using a handful of prompts. If you don't code and want to see how a real app build goes, start to finish, this one is for you.
What I cover in this video
- 0:00 The finished app turning an AI slop post into something that sounds like me
- 0:46 The two tools I use for this build: Idea Browser and Google AI Studio
- 1:32 Why AI-sounding content gets ignored, and what Stop The Slop does about it
- 3:48 Pricing, the lead magnet, and why the timing is right for this idea
- 7:35 Setting Google AI Studio to Gemini 3.5 Flash and sending the PRD prompt
- 10:42 Redesigning the landing page with the Awesome Design GitHub repo
- 15:16 Rebuilding the page around three text boxes and a blinking cursor
- 17:33 Testing it on a real AI slop post about the 49ers
The idea: stop the slop
People can tell when something was written by AI. Words like "game changer" and "delve," "don't do X, do Y" lines, and em dashes everywhere give it away. That's fine when you're just learning something. It's a problem when you're writing sales emails, outreach, or landing page copy, because readers notice right away and you'll have a hard time converting them.
Stop The Slop learns your writing voice. You give it samples of your real writing, like emails, tweets, blog posts, or a transcript from one of your YouTube videos, and it builds a voice profile. Then you paste in any draft from ChatGPT or Gemini and get it back in your voice. Generic humanizers just shuffle words around. This one copies your actual style, which is worth a lot more.
I validated the idea with Idea Browser. The report gives pricing starting at $29 a month for solo creators, going up to $200 for agencies that need multiple voice profiles. It also suggests a free "humanize your content" checklist PDF as a lead magnet, and it lists the challenges, including high competition and regulatory risk. I've already been doing a version of this in my own workflow: my agents read a human profiler markdown file before they write anything.
Laying the foundation in Google AI Studio
Building an app is like building a house: the foundation comes first. I skip the extra features and focus on the hero feature, starting with the product requirements document (PRD). In Idea Browser I click Build this idea, choose the product requirements document, and pick Google AI Studio. That copies the prompt and opens Google AI Studio.
Before you send anything, check the model selector in the top right corner and set it to Gemini 3.5 Flash. 3.1 Pro Preview isn't as strong, and 3.5 Flash does a great job on design. Before pasting the PRD, I gave it this kickoff message:
I want to build out this web app called Stop the Slop. It deals with AI generic content and turning that into a humanized voice profile. Ideally, I want the landing page very simplistic, minimalistic, conveying the actual MVP and the hero feature of this app and who it's for. I'm going to be attaching the product requirements document and then we can go ahead and start building out this landing page.
The first build took about 5 minutes. It was a full stack app with a style extraction API, which runs your writing samples through Gemini 3.5 Flash to build a profile, and a slop rewrite engine that rewrites the AI draft based on that profile and some custom sliders. It uses your Gemini API key to do the analysis. It worked, but the landing page had way too many words.
Making it look less vibe coded
Anyone can generate a web app with one click now, so you have to go a step further so it doesn't have that vibe-coded look. I used the Awesome Design GitHub repo, which has over 71,000 stars. It uses 55 popular websites as design references, including SpaceX, cal.com, Airtable, Binance, Airbnb, Meta, and Nike. My prompt was roughly:
Use this GitHub repository Awesome Design to completely redesign the landing page. It is too wordy. It needs to be more simplistic, conveying the hero feature.
I also pasted in Idea Browser's landing page prompt and asked it to add lots of movement while keeping the design minimal. A few minutes later the page was much less wordy. I then used the edit button to have it design a logo, and I asked it to confirm that the app was fully wired up.
The three-box hero section
The page was better, but it was still confusing for someone who doesn't know much about AI. So I asked Google AI Studio to redo the whole landing page with a white background and a much simpler layout:
- A hero section with a blinking cursor that says "stop the slop," where you paste your AI slop post.
- A second text box below it for your own writing, at least 500 characters, so it can learn how you naturally write and talk.
- A third box with the final output: no em dashes, no "game changer," no "delve" words.
That's the free trial: you get one free generation, right in the hero section, and the feature details go below it. To test it, I pasted in a corporate-sounding post about the 49ers full of em dashes, recorded myself talking for about a minute about why I think they'll win the Super Bowl, and hit Strike down slop and clone voice. The output sounded like how I actually talk. I still want a better logo, because the current one looks like a typical vibe-coded logo, but the core app works.
Key takeaways
- Validate the idea before you build so you don't build something you can't make money from. Idea Browser gives you pricing, a lead magnet, and the risks up front.
- Start every build with a PRD and focus on the hero feature first. The extra features can wait.
- Set Google AI Studio to Gemini 3.5 Flash before you send your first prompt.
- Point your build at the Awesome Design repo so the page doesn't look AI-generated.
- The best hero section lets people try the product right away. Three boxes (slop in, your voice, clean output) explain it with no paragraphs needed.
If you're new to this, my guides on building an app with AI and vibe coding go deeper on the same workflow.
FAQ
How does an AI humanizer app like Stop The Slop work?
You give it samples of your own writing, like emails, tweets, blogs, or a YouTube transcript, and it builds a voice profile. Then you paste in an AI draft from ChatGPT or Gemini, and it rewrites the draft in your voice without em dashes, "game changer" phrasing, or "delve" words.
Which model should I use in Google AI Studio to build an app?
In the video I set the model in the top right corner to Gemini 3.5 Flash. 3.1 Pro Preview isn't as strong, and 3.5 Flash does a great job on design.
How long does it take to build an app with Google AI Studio?
This build took about 20 to 30 minutes. The first full stack version compiled in about 5 minutes, and the rest of the time went into a few rounds of design changes.
How do I make an AI-built website not look vibe coded?
I point Google AI Studio at the Awesome Design GitHub repo, which uses 55 popular websites as design references, and ask it to redesign the page to be simpler and less wordy.

0:00Oh my god, it actually worked. That's awesome. We just took 30 minutes to build this app. To take something that was produced AI slop, we ran it through our human voice profiler, and we got an actual amazing output. It says, "I think the San Francisco 49ers are a really great team, and they have a really good history of winning. They have great players, and these players are really good at beating defenses." Amazing. So, basically, in this middle text box, I just took my own written words, how I actually speak naturally. It took my original AI slop post and applied how I speak, how I talk, my cadence to the output. This is amazing. If you want to see how we built this app, you're going to want to stick around all the way to the end. We took about 20 to 30 minutes to build this, and we're using two tools that you need to be using in your daily
0:46workflow. Let's get right into it. So, if you're a builder and you want to try to build your app as fast as possible, these are the two tools that we're going to be using to do so, and this is going to be like 15 minutes, and we're going to spin this app up, and you're going to be in shock. The first is Idea Browser. This is going to validate our idea. This is going to give us the tools to complete the idea, and give us some insights that we can't really see on our end doing all the work by ourself. That's going to fast-track the progress, as well as Google AI Studio. Gemini 3.5 Flash just came out. Beautiful designs. This is going to build out the entire idea from zero to one. We're going to get about 80 to 90% of the MVP completed in this video. So, stick around all the way through, and you're going to learn to go from zero to an actual working app. The app we're building today is
1:32amazing because this is a common problem in all of AI content creation. It is called Stop the Slop. Basically, in theory, it is AI base AI-generated content sounds like AI, right? Game-changer. And let me delve into the next topic, and don't do X, but do Y, or M dashes in all of your content. People know that this is AI written. So, a big problem that this solves is it humanizes your AI emails, AI copy, AI anything. It's going to humanize it in your voice. So, it is a web app that transforms AI slop into actual writing style in your voice. So, AI generated content sounds
2:17like a robot wrote it, which is great for like learning, you know, from your point of view. But, if you're doing sales, outbound research, or you're doing any kind of landing page copy, or any kind of outreach, and it's AI generated, people know right away. You're going to have a hard time converting these people. So, it uses generic phrasing, weird formality, zero personality. And your audience can tell. But, Stop the Slop fixes this by learning your unique writing voice and rewriting AI text that sounds exactly like you wrote it. So, you basically upload sam- samples of your real writing, you know, like emails, tweets, blogs, things that you've written in the past, or even a YouTube video. You can transcribe that YouTube video and upload
3:02that. And then the app builds a profile for you. And then you paste in any AI generated draft, whether from ChatGPT or whatever, or from Google, whatever, Gemini. And then you feed it through Stop the Slop, and then you get a beautiful, amazing, basically handwritten by you output. So, that is the key here. And the way is for content creators, marketers who need volume but refuse to sound like everyone else. You're not just cleaning out up AI outputs, you're you're basically you're cloning your style, right? And that's way more valuable than generic humanizers that just shuffle words around. So, the pricing is going to start $29 a month for solo creators and scales to 200 for agencies who need
3:48multiple voice profiles. You know, at 10,000 users, were at $2 million MRR or ARR. MRR would be nice but ARR it would be great. And what I like with just Idea Browser it gives you just this when you generate the report it gives you just you know a lot of info to just confirm that this idea is actually worth building. The worst thing is building something that you cannot monetize. Maybe you're building something personal and you don't care about monetizing it. I think for the most part people who are building apps want to actually generate revenue from them. So this gives you just a quick little snapshot of like who's for validating the keyword. Um shows like what opportunity there is. The lead magnet is essentially you know humanize your content checklist. This is free. It's a downloadable PDF with
4:34actionable tips to make AI generated content sound more human. And it the front end is access to core features. It will transform AI text into human-like style with basic customization options. And then the core is $50 a month. This includes style profiling, larger content volume, and additional customization features. So why now? I mean this has just been an idea in my mind for at least the last 6 months. I actually do this in other apps uh when I create content. I have a human profiler markdown file that my agents need to read before it outputs any text. And this is huge for AI generated content. But why now? I mean it's because AI is exploding and most of the internet now
5:20is AI generated. If you go to LinkedIn, wow. Oh my god. LinkedIn is essentially just AI agents talking back to each other. I don't even think there's a single human that writes any content on LinkedIn. It is insane. And that's a problem because no one wants that. I don't want it. I don't know if you want it but I don't. Um it's time to get more humanized content, right? Um it also increases trust, authentic authenticity, and it's ideal. So that's why the that's why now is because it's perfect timing. This is needed. This is in demand. Proof signals, the AI content humanizer, stop the slop. I love that name, by the way. Unfortunately, the dot com is taken, but we'll figure that out. This addresses a growing frustration with robotic AI content and fulfills urgent needs for
6:05personalization. It faces challenges like high competition and regulatory risks, but capitalizes on unique style mimicry, meeting demand from creators and marketers seeking authentic communication. So, it's beautiful. And you're going to watch us build this out in just minutes. So, what I like is there is a button on the top right. You could roast this idea as well, but there's a button, build this idea. Brings up AI workspace where you could just plug it right in, but we want to do the idea builder because this is going to connect right with Google AI Studio. So, we're just going to click that. And then, there's a few things here on the left-hand side that give you like ideas for ad creative, brand packaging, and your landing page. Also gives you some prompt templates for marketing, you
6:50know, that your email, sales funnel, things like that. But we're going to start with the basics. We're laying the foundation. Anytime you build an app, it's like building a house. The first and most important thing is laying a foundation. As much as we want to build all the shiny objects within this app, we're focusing on the hero feature and we need to build the foundation. So, that's the product requirements document. That's also the feature specs. And then, the third thing I would say is the landing page um to be able to dial in the brand packaging and things like that. So, when you click on product requirements document, it gives you a prompt uh to be able to feed into any LLM. Like I said, we're using Google AI Studio, so it's generating it. We're just going to click Google AI Studio, and then it's going to copy prompt and open Google AI Studio. So, I'm in Google AI Studio. It's really important that
7:35you go to the right-hand corner and make sure it's set to default Gemini 3.5 flash. If you haven't, yeah, you need to do that like right now um because you could use 3.1 pro preview. It's just not as strong and capable. This is the latest model and we're going to use it cuz it does an amazing job at design. So, this is what we're doing for the first initial prompt to kick this off. I want to build out this web app called stop the slop. It deals with AI generic content and turning that into a humanized voice profile. Ideally, I want the landing page very simplistic, minimalistic, conveying the actual MVP and the hero feature of this app and who it's for. I'm going to be attaching the product requirements document and then
8:22we can go ahead and start building out this landing page. But, I just wanted to give you an update. This is what we're building and this is what we're working on today. Then, I'm pasting in the PRD prompt and we're just hitting build. Okay, right out of the box, it did a pretty good job and that took about 5 minutes. I have successfully compiled, built, and finalized the responsive full stack web app stop the slop. I have written a highly detailed product requirements document and implemented a functional, highly crafted single-page application landing page and featuring a customizable writing voice clone sandbox. So, here's the key implementations and we can always, you know, obviously change any of this, but it did a pretty good job. I wanted a minimalistic, clean style. I feel like
9:09it's a little wordy. There's a lot of words on here and as you know, people's attention span is like 0.01 second now. So, there's too much words, so we're definitely going to fix that. So, let's just see what it did. The key implementations, the technical infrastructure. So, it generated the PRD to actually define, you know, the product. And then, a lazy Google GenAI core. So, to instantiate the Google GenAI client checking and validating. Um so, it's going to use the Gemini We're going to use our Gemini API key to actually do the actual analysis and generate the output. Style extraction API, process custom user text samples through Gemini 3.5 flash in real time, outputting dynamic custom profile
9:55metrics. The slop rewrite engine analyzes and rewrites generic AI outputs inside a highly detailed style transfer loop based on target profile features and custom sliders. It created a premium distinctive visual interface, which is cool. Went ahead and did that. Um so, again to like with the ability of being able to just generate a web app with a click of a button nowadays, we really need to take it the next step to not have the vibe-coded website look. So, I'm going to pull this website up into an actual bigger page so you can look at it, we can review it, and then make changes. Okay, just going through the landing page, it's just like I said, too wordy. There's a lot of words. I I like the minimalist style. It's just there's
10:42a lot to read here. And yeah, so we're going to fix that. I do have this GitHub repo called awesome design markdown file. It has over 71,000 stars in the last month. And it takes 55 of the most popular websites and uses them as examples to build out landing pages. So, this is going to be a great one. You can see here it copies SpaceX, it copies cal.com, Airtable, Binance, Airbnb, Meta, Nike, a lot of the popular websites we know, and just kind of uses them as a concept to build out our site. So, I'm going to do that as our next step just to get a little bit more meat and potatoes out of this because it's a pretty generic first rough draft, but still I I like the simplistic approach. It's like there's no real logo. There's
11:28a few things that it needs to improve upon. So, I'm going to say, use this GitHub repository awesome design to completely redesign the landing page. It is too wordy. It needs to be more simplistic campaign come conveying the hero feature. Here's the repository and then I'm going to go back into idea browser and I clicked it up I clicked on landing page. This is the landing page prompt for our stop the slop website. So I'm going to go ahead and then give this prompt to Google AI studio to implement here is a prompt for our landing page as well. Take the GitHub repository and create tons of movement but also keep it a very simplistic minimalist design. Okay, this is what it come up with just
12:14a few minutes later which is nice. Let me just refresh it here just to see how it compares mhm better less wordy awesome awesome. Okay, let's go in and use this little edit button and let's have it come up with a logo. Turn this component into a logo for stop the slop. Be creative. Okay, so I just basically asked if the app was completely wired up and then it says it's fully operational. Here's how the system is bridged together to support a flawless robust user experience. So the linguist linguistic stylist analyzer when you write or paste a human writing sample in the custom voice cloner and select calibrate cloner the front end sends the text directly to our secure
13:00server side at dynamic analysis endpoint and then it utilizes the state-of-the-art Gemini 3.5 flash model behind the scenes in a secure server side environment. So the model parses the sample using strict computational schema constraints to extract the precise style features basically cloning how we would type naturally, right? So style transfer and purging engine. So, when you click strike down slop in their interactive playground, the front end client transmits the robotic draft, your target voice profiles, and the live fine-tuning slider metrics directly to the humanized engine. And then it runs the aggressive multi-step prompt on the
13:46server to completely isolate corporate buzzwords and AI tells, such as delve's testament, tapestry, oh my goodness, this is great. Okay. The engine returns the humanized draft along with a detailed live linguistic diagnosis diagnosis and resilient local emulation, and then zero fluff production build verified. Cool. Awesome, awesome. Sweet. So, I can sign up right now, log into the dashboard, and start creating my humanized profile, and start using it right away. Okay, let's take a further look at this. Turn generic AI slop into your actual writing voice. My goal is that I want to almost make it a little bit more simpler where the user could then, like the hero section is basically
14:31where they can just input their copy that they got from their LLM, and then basically give Stop the Slop, our product, like 500 to 1,000 characters of words that they've written, or maybe even like a YouTube video where it pulls the transcript, and then it takes basically their copy that they got from the LLM, and then it runs it through that voice profile system, and it gives them the output of what it would sound like, like as if they wrote it. So, I like that it kind of has that format, but I almost want to just simplify it a little bit more. Um, I mean, I guess you kind of got it here. It it did pretty good job. It's just, you know, I I'm just a simple person, right? And I just feel like it's can be
15:16a little bit confusing to a person that doesn't know a lot about AI, and they're just like, "What exactly does this do? While the overall concept works, I'm just not happy with how the landing page looks. I want it to be simpler, so I'm going to go back into Google AI Studio and kind of redo a lot of the landing page. I want to redo the entire landing page. I want it to be a white background and I want it to be much more simplistic. I want the hero section to be a blinking cursor where it says stop the slop where they put in their slop post right there, right in the hero section. And right beneath that, there is also a text box for them to upload some of their content, a minimum of 500 characters. So, it could take the slop
16:01post, read how they night write naturally and how they talk naturally in the second text box, and then the third text box is the final output with no em dashes, with no game changer, with no delve words. Like, it needs to be no AI slop and actually sound like written it. So, it's going to take the second text box, how they actually write their content, and apply it to the slop post, and then generate the output. That is going to be the free trial, they get one free generation, and that's going to be the hero section. And then below that hero section, you go into the details about the app. Do you understand? We're going to ship that because that's how I have it visualized in my mind. While the overall concept works, it's just too wordy, the text box is too small,
16:48there's too many little buttons. It's just there's a lot of friction there. Okay, this looks a lot better. Um, let's see what it did. I have successfully completed a comprehensive redesign and refactor of Stop the Slop landing page. It just looks uh like 1,000 times better. And what kind of stops the scroll, basically, is that they're able to just try it out right away. That's what I kind of had envisioned in the hero section. I don't like the logo, though. Can you redesign the logo? It looks like a traditional vibe coded logo. Um but let's pull it up here and see how it looks. All right. Robotic AI drafts sound uniform, overly verbi- verbose, and packed with clichés. Our Cloner reads your natural vocabulary habits and formats drafts to sound exactly like you
17:33write and speak naturally. Okay, cool. So, we're going to take this one from earlier. It's the 49ers corporate slop. Just a quick brief description, tons of m dashes, tons of technical words that no one even understands. No one even writes like that. And then let's see. It says, "Type or paste how you write or talk naturally here and it will map the rhythms." Okay, perfect. So, I'm going to get some of my content and just put it in there. Okay, I just went in here and yapped for like a minute about why I think the 49ers are going to win the Super Bowl. And uh but let's see how this does because it's taking this very robotic post. It's applying my talking style. So, the output will hopefully be
18:18The output will hopefully be kind of how I spoke naturally, right? So, we're just going to hit strike down slop and clone voice. Let's see how that works. Gives you a free try and then down below shows the features. I I like the white background just so much better. So much better. Pretty crazy in today's age you could just come up with an idea using a tool like Idea Browser to validate that idea. Takes maybe 20, 30 minutes. Pull it into Google AI Studio with the new Gemini 3.5 Flash. Go through a few iterations of the design and come out with an actual working MVP in just under an hour. I mean, stuff like this would take months, years to develop 5, 10 years ago. And we're just living in a completely different age and the playing
19:03field has never been lower. So, if you want to try these apps out, I have a lifetime discount for Idea Browser. You can check it out. Link down below. And you need to be playing around with these tools to be able to level up your skills and to just get better as a builder. Check out the links down below and we'll see you in the next one. How to Build a Pet Dental Scanner App with Google AI Studio
I build a pet dental health scanner in about 30 minutes to an hour with Google AI Studio and Gemini 3.1 Pro preview. I start from a validated idea on Idea Browser, write a PRD, style the app with the Awesome Design repo, then upload a photo of my dog's teeth and get an AI analysis back.
Vibe Coding for Kids: Build a Kids Game App in Google AI Studio
I build BuildAlong AI, a vibe coding platform for kids ages 7 to 12, in about 25 minutes. I use Idea Browser to find and validate the idea and grab the prompts, then build it in Google AI Studio with Firebase authentication and a Gemini API backend. By the end, a kid can type "make the alien jump higher" and watch the game change.
How to Build a Bookkeeping App with Google AI Studio (No Coding)
I use Google AI Studio (free) and prompts from Idea Browser to build Onboardly, an app that turns a messy pile of client receipts and statements into a clean ledger. It takes about 20 minutes and adds Firebase login, Google OAuth, real CSV uploads, and Gemini categorization.
