00Anthropic is about to release one of the craziest models known to man. And in this video, we're going to be talking all about it because this just leaked last night, and it's probably the reason why we're having some problems with Anthropic usage limits right now. We'll get into that a little bit later, but Anthropic, the company behind Claude, accidentally leaked their most powerful AI model ever built. And I'm not talking about a small update or a patch like Opus 4.7. This is something completely different. It's much bigger. A whole new tier of AI that nobody even knew that existed until this morning. So, here's what happened. Like, Fortune broke this story, and it's been blowing up across the entire internet all day. Anthropic had a misconfigured public data store,
46and when I say public, I mean literally everyone saw it. Security researchers from Cambridge and a company called LayerX found it. Nearly 3,000 unpublished assets just sitting there for anyone to find. Draft blog posts, internal documents, and all of that was buried inside of all this information about a model called Claude Mythos. So, here's what gets really interesting past this is Mythos is not an Opus 5, it's not even the next version of Opus, it's just a whole new model tier called Capybara. So, right now, if you've got Haiku, which is the small fast model, you've got Sonnet, which is the medium model, and then you got Opus, which is a great big model, great for coding, great for reasoning. And that's what I run my
32whole agent pipeline on is through Anthropic models, specifically Opus 4.6 and Sonnet. But, Capybara sits above Opus, it's in its fourth tier, the biggest and most expensive model Anthropic has ever built. And Mythos is the first model in that tier. Anthropic confirmed all of this to Fortune. They called it, and I quote, "a step change in AI performance." They said it is the most capable model to date, and the training is already done. It's complete. They're testing it right now with early access customers, which is why we're probably seeing the token limit hits, the API rate limits, and problems with Anthropic being down altogether. Real quick, before we keep going, if you're
17watching this and you want to actually build with some of these tools, not just watch videos about them, then you're going to want to check out our community down below, Shipping School. We have a full Claude code course, a full open Claude course, and four live bootcamps every single week where we actually help you get set up from scratch. Like, actually set this thing up, not just watch a tutorial and figure it out by yourself. And we also provide one-on-one coaching, so you could book a call with me, we could share screens, and I can help you get Claude code or open Claude running on your machine. That's it, no fluff. I built this community because watching YouTube's only gets you so far. We launched it just 3 days ago, and we have over 55 members. You need people around you who are actually building,
03people who hold you accountable, and coaches who can help you when you get stuck. I'll put the link in the description down below. Get in now before the price goes up. So, this thing exists, it works, and it's already in people's hands. Just not yours and mine yet. Now, I'm going to talk about the benchmarks because this is where it gets insane. They said Mythos has dramatically higher scores than Opus 4.6 in coding, academic reasoning, and cybersecurity. Dramatically higher, not 5%, not a little bump in improvement. They used the word dramatically. And for anyone who's been building with Opus 4.6, you know how good that model already is. It's one of the best in the world. I run 13 agents on Opus 4.6 every single day, my entire Wu Tang pipeline, the content machine that writes five video scripts a day, generates X posts,
49creates blog content, does podcast outreach, all that on Opus 4.6. I have that link down below, by the way, if you want content on autopilot. And it's beautiful, it's incredible. So, they said dramatically higher than what I'm already using, that's a pretty big deal. Here's the part that really caught my attention about all this, the cybersecurity angle. Anthropic said that Mythos is, and again, I'm quoting here, "currently far ahead of any other AI model in cyber capabilities." Any other model, not just Claude models, any model. And that's straight up what they said. They said it progresses and incoming wave of models that can exploit vulnerabilities in a way that far outpace the efforts of defenders, which is scary. Models that can find and
35exploit security holes faster than humans can patch them. That's not science fiction, that is existing right now, and that's a model that is going to be tested today. So, because of that, Anthropic is doing some really interesting with the rollout here. They're giving early access to cyber defenders first, not developers, not content creators, not people like you and me who build cool stuff. Cyber defenders, so the people whose job it is to protect systems and networks. They want the good guys to have this tool before it goes widespread, which is the best decision. I respect that. Because of the implications here are very real. Speaking of cybersecurity, there's another detail in this story that I think is worth talking about that no one seems to be is Chinese state-sponsored groups have already been trying to use
21Claude code to infiltrate organizations. Anthropic said these groups targeted 30 different organizations using their tools. So, this isn't hypothetical, this is already happening with the current models. Now, imagine what happens when you have a model that's dramatically better at finding vulnerabilities. That's why Anthropic said they're especially worried about the cybersecurity implications of Mythos. Now, I have to talk about the irony here because, come on, you cannot make this up. The company that is worried about AI cybersecurity risks, the company that is deliberately doing a slow rollout because they're scared of what this model can do in the wrong hands, that company leaked their own model through a basic security misconfiguration. A public data store with 3,000 assets just
08sitting out there. Draft blog posts about their secret model sitting in a bucket that anyone with the right URL could access. Security researchers found it, not hackers, not nation-states, academic researchers. I'm not going to pile on too hard because this stuff happens, we all make mistakes, but coming from a multi-billion dollar company that has security at top of the line, this is kind of hilarious. You know, we've all misconfigured something in the past, so I understand, but the timing and the context make this really funny. You're over here telling the world that your model can exploit vulnerabilities faster than defenders can patch them, and then you leave 3,000 documents in an open bucket. That's just funny, and I don't really know what to say about it, it's just a little bit to chuckle about. So, let's talk about what this means for builders. So, what is
53this tool going to do for us in the future? So, for people like you and me who are actually using these tools every day, right now, if you're in the Claude ecosystem, the model lineup is Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus. And for most of us doing serious work, we're on Opus, and that's where the magic happens. But, now there's going to be a fourth tier above Opus called Capybara, and Mythos is the first Capybara model. What does that mean practically for you and I? It means better coding, better reasoning, better at literally anything. But, it's more expensive. They said it costs more than Opus to run, and Opus is already super expensive. I'm spending real money using 13 agents on Opus 4.6, I'm on the $200 month tier, and I do get so close to hitting those usage limits every single
38week. So, Capybara is going to be hit different on this, you know, whole new tier. I can't imagine what it's going to cost, but if the performance is as dramatic as what they're saying, it might be worth it for certain tasks. Maybe you don't run all your agents on Capybara, maybe you just use it for coding and heavy lifting, complex reasoning, security analysts, you know, keeping your lighter agents on Sonnet or like a mini max, that's probably going to be the best way going forward. That's my guess on how it's going to all work. Here's the bad news, there's no public release date. Anthropic is being very deliberate about this, they're doing a slow rollout, they want to understand the capabilities and the risks before they open it up to everyone. That is probably the first thing that I would do is just slowly roll it out. If this thing is as powerful as it's they say,
23you don't want it in the hands of the bad actors out there. I get it. You don't want to just drop a model that can exploit vulnerabilities faster than humans can defend against it, and then say, "Good luck, everyone, have fun." That could literally damage a lot of systems out there. So, don't hold your breath on the release date, but I do know it's coming, probably in the next couple months. The training is already done, it's just being tested. And let me tell you why this matters beyond just the specs. This validates something I've been saying for a while now, Claude is pushing ahead, Anthropic is not slowing down. While everyone's been arguing about ChatGPT versus Claude versus Gemini, Anthropic went ahead and built an entire new tier model that no one even knew about. They didn't even announce it. They didn't do a big keynote, they accidentally leaked it through bad security and then confirmed it was real. Maybe that was their plan all along. That's how far ahead they
09are. They've got models in the pipeline that public doesn't even know about yet. For my setup, specifically, this is exciting. I do run open Claude on Opus 4.6, my entire operation, the 13 agents, the daily content pipeline, all the mission control dashboard, and it's all built on Claude. So, if Mythos delivers what they are promising, the upgrade path is so clear. Better scripts, better research, better reasoning across every single agent in the pipeline. My Wu Tang squad will go from good to absolutely crazy. And I think for the cost, it might be worth it. The writer writing scripts on Mythos, Ghostface doing intelligence gathering on Capybara, I mean, come on, that's the future that I love to see. It's already performing really well now. I can't believe how much better it could get. If you're struggling to keep up with content,
55well, I'm about to save you about 40 days worth of work. I [music] built something called Content Machine. It's 10 AI agents that run on the open claw orchestration and they handle everything. Scripts, thumbnails, X posts, blogs, outreach, clips, [music] newsletters, all of it. So, I went from 1,000 subscribers to 4,000 subscribers on YouTube in 7 days using this exact system. Every single morning I wake up and the content's already done. I spend maybe 15-20 minutes reviewing and approving them and I move on with my day. It works for any niche, [music] fitness, finance, real estate, marketing, whatever you are building and it is 100% completely customizable to your use case. So, you get the mission
41control dashboard, all of the cron jobs, everything I've built over the last 40 days helping me gain more and more people to subscribe and join the community. So, you plug in your own thing and it molds it to you, it learns how you talk and it writes [music] so it doesn't sound like AI slop. $97 one time, it's not a subscription. I'll put the link down below and you'll thank me later. The cybersecurity capabilities are interesting. I'm not going to, you know, tell you that I'm a cybersecurity expert, but I'm mainly just a builder, but I do think that, you know, with an agent that could do those kind of capabilities, you know, think about what it could do for regular people like you and me. Scanning for code vulnerabilities automatically, checking your infrastructure, making sure data stores aren't, you know, publicly accessible. The things that even Anthropic apparently needs help with.
27So, let me break it down the key takeaways here. The first one is Claude mythos is real, it's coming, Anthropic confirmed it. It's a step change in AI performance. The second thing is there's a new tier called Capybara that sits above Opus. That's not an incredible an incremental update. This is a new class model. The third thing is training is already complete and it's already being tested with early access customers right now. The fourth thing is it dramatically outperforms Opus 4.6 in coding, reasoning, and cybersecurity. The fifth thing is the cybersecurity implications are real and serious enough that Anthropic is giving defenders early access before the general public. The sixth thing is there's no release date yet, which is kind of depressing, but it's okay. It's going to be coming out here in the next few months. Deliberate
12slow rollout, I get it, you know, they're being cautious with it. You know, number seven is it's going to be a lot more expensive than Opus. Opus is already insanely pricey. And the elephant in the room, number eight, is Anthropic leaked all of this through their own security misconfiguration, which is just funny. I don't really know what to say about it, but it's most it's literally the most 2026 thing that could have happened. The AI safety company that's worried about their model being too powerful at finding security vulnerabilities leaked their own model through a security vulnerability. I love it. It's funny. I'm sure they planned that. Now, I want to be real with you for a second. As someone who is all in on Claude models and as someone who runs his entire business on the stack, the news gets me fired up it cuz it means the tools are going to keep getting better. The agents are going to keep
57getting smarter and the stuff we're building today on Opus 4.6, which is already incredible, is just the beginning. So, when Capybara drops, and it will drop eventually, couple months, everything will change again. Your business instantly gets an upgrade and that's exactly why I built the community Shipping School. We have over 163 members that have joined in the last 15 days because the people who understand how to build with these tools right now, while they're still relatively early, are going to have a huge massive advantage when the next generation of models drop. So, it's good to be in a community where we can hold each other accountable. We do six live calls every single week. You don't want to be learning the basics when mythos comes out. You want to be ahead of the game. You want to have your agent systems up and running. You want to under understand already the architecture on
43which they run on and you want to be ready to upgrade, not starting from scratch. So, if you're watching this and you're not in the community, come join us. I'll put the link down below. We're building every single day. We got live calls to help you take the next step along your AI journey. So, when Capybara drops, we're going to be the first ones figuring out how to use it. That's the news. Claude mythos, Capybara trier. I got the source link down below. Leaked by accident, confirmed by Anthropic, the most powerful AI model ever built and it's sitting in a testing lab somewhere right now being poked and prodded by and it's only accessible to early customers while the rest of us have to wait. But, what a great time to be alive. If you haven't subscribed already, please do. We drop videos like this four to six times every single day. Hit the notification bell. We'll see you in about an hour when the next video drops.
28Bye-bye.
