00The new GPT 2.0 image model blows Nano Banana out of the water. And in this video, we're going to go over some simple practical use cases on how I'm using it and how you should be using it as well. So, you can see here from arena.ai, GPT image 2 takes number one in every single text-to-image category, all seven of them, surpassing the next leading model, which we all know was Nano Banana 2. So, number one in product branding and commercial design, number one in 3D image modeling, number one in can cartoon and anime, photorealistic cinema cinematic imagery, art, portraits, and text rendering. I'm going to give you a few examples here cuz it blows anything out of the water by a mile. You can see

46here product branding can now be done in one go-around. So, GPT 2.0 from a single prompt can recreate everything from individual assets to full brand kits. That is pretty impressive. You got Starbucks, you got Tesla, you got Naruto, and it just does a great job at helping you improvise when you're building a startup. The next thing is a beautiful landing page. I mean, look at this. It gets text really, really well, and it does a beautiful job. So, people are creating full-on video games and bringing them to life with GPT 2.0. People are even creating postcards and posters and actual trading cards from

31this thing. The most impressive part, it didn't even need a reference image to create this photo. I mean, these are really good. You can't even tell that they were made with AI. With Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro, you could sometimes tell, especially when it came to the text. And while GPT 2.0, the image model is not perfect, it is a huge leap forward in image generation. So, I built an AI photo editor for real estate agents, and I used Nano Banana 2 behind the scenes to be able to help real estate agents drag and drop their photos in and get upscaled 4K photos in just one click. So, I'm going to be playing around with this new GPT 2.0 model. It's also less expensive, but much more detailed. You can do custom edits on

17your photos as well, but I'm going to be deep diving into how I can integrate it. I also have another app called Easy Flip, which we do virtual staging, and that's going to be really helpful as well. So, I know I'm late to the party, and there's been many other videos made on this whole topic, but I'm just going to give you my perspective on how I'm going to use it and why you should be using it as well. I use GPT 2.0 through kai.ai. It's what I've used for all of my video and image models, text-to-image, text-to-video. It's just a marketplace, similar to like a Higgs field. So, or like FreePik. And, you know, if you're building anything in the photo editing space like I am, most people are, you know, you already know what I'm about to say. Like, I woke up to this release a

02few days ago, and I opened my phone. Real quick, before we keep going, if you're watching this and you want to actually build with some of these tools, not just watch videos about them, then you're going to want to check out our community down below, Shipping School. We have a full Claude code course, a full Open Claude course, and [music] four live bootcamps every single week where we actually help you get set up from scratch. Like, actually set this thing up, not just watch a tutorial and figure it out by yourself. And we also provide one-on-one coaching, so you could book a call with me, we could share screens, and I can help you get Claude code or Open Claude running on your machine. That's it, no fluff. I built this community because watching YouTube's only gets you so far. We launched it just 3 days ago, and we have

47over 55 members. You need people around you who are actually building, people who hold you accountable, and coaches who can help you when you get stuck. I'll put the link in the description down below. Get in now before the price goes up. And I felt like I got punched in the face cuz in this AI space, things move pretty quickly. You know, for those of you who don't know, you know, I have the AI editing app, you know, I have Magic Hand. I have that AI photo editor for real estate listings. I also built another thing I don't even talk about, it's called snap tasktic.art, and it's a basically something similar for except for real estate agents, it's for restoring old photos. So, you know, it's a general AI photo editor, you know, there's three different businesses here. We got Easy Flip, the Magic Hand, and Snap Tasktic. But I'm going to be

32implementing GPT 2.0 across all of these apps, you know, all three living in the same space that OpenAI just walked into just this last week with a model that basically eats up the entire category. I mean, you see the benchmarks, and I'm not going to pretend like I woke up, you know, that day feeling great about that because I'm going to have to replace all the back-end APIs with the new ones, but it is going to save money in the long run, and the quality output is going to be better. So, I'm going to back up and actually talk about what shipped because this is not a minor update. It's a huge one. You've seen a ton of videos come out about it, right? You've already seen it probably across your X feed of all the cool renditions of people that people have made, you know? OpenAI released this model on April 21st, and

17the headline numbers on this thing were pretty crazy, you know? They are claiming 99% text rendering accuracy, which I haven't seen. There has been some mistakes, but very minor. You know, which if you have ever tried to like get an AI to generate a photo with readable text, that was the hardest part up until this last few months. You know, that was pretty impossible just a like, let's say, 6 months ago. It was very difficult. You know, you would ask for a sign that said "Open late," and you would get back something that looked like a Scrabble board had a seizure. You remember the old Midjourney days? I remember that like it was yesterday. Text was basically impossible. Not anymore, you know? They are also pushing up to 4K

03resolution on output, which is a pretty serious jump. The model is twice as fast as the first version, GPT image 1, and it handles multilingual text rendering in Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Bengali. So, you know, if you're building for international markets, this just became a lot more interesting. Now, here's the part that made my coffee go cold. Image Arena dropped the benchmarks. And if you don't know what Image Arena is, it's basically a blind head-to-head rating system. Real humans look at two images without knowing which model made which, and they vote on which one is better. It's kind of the only benchmark that actually matters because you can't game it with cherry-picked

49marketing shots. I'm sorry. Image 2 debuted at a number one on text-to-image with the Elo of 1512. The previous champion, for example, was Nano Banana 2, that sat around 1200. So, GPT image 2 did not just edge it out, it literally just beat it by 250 points. You know, in chess terms, let's say, that is not a rival, that's a different weight class. It also hit number one on single image editing at 1500 and number one on multi-image editing at 1464. So, we are talking about a clean sweep across the three most important image categories decided by real humans voting blindly. So, when I saw that this morning, you

34know, my first thought was really simple. If a foundation model can ship something this good in 12 hours, was my business ever actually safe? Hmm. And I want to be real with you because that's the whole point in this channel. I have been going back and forth on this for the last few days since it came out because on the surface, the answer is pretty brutal. If the thing I built my app on just got replaced by something 10 times better than the model provider themselves, that looks like a catastrophe. That's the fear. Any solo builder who tells you they don't think about that is lying to you. This AI space is changing every day, and it's something we need to think about as we are building. But the more I sat with it this last few days, the more I realized something, and I think this is the

19lesson I want to hand to you if you're watching this and building anything yourself. You know, my moat was never the model, and neither should yours. I'm going to say that again because it took me years to actually believe this. My moat is never the model. Magic Hand does not win because it has the single best imaging model in the world. It never won on that. Magic Hand wins because it understands what a real estate listing photo actually needs. It understands that the sky needs to be blue without looking fake. It understands that the lawn needs to look green, but not cartoonish. That took a few days to dial in. It understands which rooms need virtual staging and which rooms need to stay empty. It understands that a realtor is going to upload 40 photos at

05once and just wants to click one button, not fiddle with 40 individual edits. And that's the product I built. You know, that's the moat, and that's what I sell. The image model underneath, that can change every day. It probably will, honestly. 6 months from now, GPT image 2 will look terrible. 6 months after that, we'll probably have all Apple headsets on and be in a whole new universe, right? And guess what, you know? Magic Hand users will not care. They will still want their realtor photos cleaned up in one click. And when I'm building apps, I always think of how does it save the end user time? And that's what I built with Magic Hand. It's like, how can I save real estate agents time where they can just upload their photos, click a button, and come back to edited photos all done, ready for the MLS. And that's similar with the Snap Tasktic app I make. You know, people are basically

51people who are restoring a photo of their grandma that got water damaged, maybe in a flood, do not care which model is running underneath. They care that the app understands what a face looked like in 1974, that it does not aggressively smooth out the wrinkles in a way that makes their grandma look like a wax figure, and that it costs under 10 bucks, basically, and that it does the thing in under a minute. That's the product. And this is where I want to pivot and talk directly to my Shipping School community and to any of you out there that are just building in general. Because there's a very specific mistake I see people making every single day, and Image 2 just turned that mistake into a five-alarm fire. If you're struggling to keep up with content, well, I'm about to save you about 40

36days worth of work. [music] I built something called Content Machine. It's 10 AI agents that run on the open claw orchestration, and they handle everything: scripts, [music] thumbnails, X posts, blogs, outreach, clips, newsletters, all of it. So, I went from 1,000 subscribers to 4,000 subscribers on YouTube in 7 days using this exact system. Every single morning, I wake [music] up, and the content's already done. I spend maybe 15, 20 minutes reviewing and approving them, and I move on with my day. It works for any niche: fitness, finance, [music] real estate, marketing, whatever you're building, and it is 100% completely customizable to your use case. So, you get the mission control dashboard, all of the cron jobs,

23everything I've built over the last 40 days [music] helping me gain more and more people to subscribe and join the community. So, you plug in your own thing, and it molds it to you, it learns how you talk, and it writes so it doesn't sound like AI slop. $97 one time, it's not a subscription, I'll put the link down below, and you'll thank me later. Stop trying to build a thin wrapper on whatever model it is that you're trying to build on. You know, I know that's harsh, but I know half of you watching this just shipped a GPT wrapper last month. I did, too. But listen, if your entire product is just a prettier UI on top of a foundation model, your business literally has an expiration date. I mean, what happens when Mythos comes out? We're all in trouble. And the expiration date is whenever that foundation model provider decides to do

08the thing themselves, and they will eventually. Every single time, they have all the data, they have all the compute, and all the distribution. You can't outrun them on a pure model quality itself. You never could. What you can do is own the workflow, own the niche, own the customer, and those are the three different things. So, I want to break them down real quick on how we can create a little moat for ourselves. If you own the workflow, this means you understand the 10 specific steps your customer takes between having a problem and getting a solution. You know, you automate those steps, you remove the friction, you know that a real estate agent does not want to think about lighting correction or sky replacement, lawn enhancement, window glare removal, and virtual staging as five separate tools. They want to drop the 40 photos

54in and go get lunch, or do a listing, right? Show it do a showing. And that's the workflow. Own the niche means you pick a customer type so specific that a foundation model provider will never bother targeting. OpenAI is not going to build a specialty app for small-town real estate agents in Oregon. They are not going to build a photo restoration tool for grandchildren who are trying to preserve her single photo from 1962. Those are knife fights. OpenAI is the tank business, right? They are not going to show up in the knife fight. They own the Own the customer means you actually talk to your users, you know their names, you know what they do for work, you know what frustrates them about their last app, and then you ship those fixes for them specifically. When a foundation model drops tomorrow, your

39customers do not jump ship because you are the one that is actually solving their problem. The model is just a tool in your toolbox. That's the whole play, and GPT Image 2 did not kill any of my apps, I It just upgraded all of ours. If you do content creation, it upgraded our whole workflow. And it just made that play even more obvious, right? So, where does that leave me after this last week? I think it's I'm in a better spot than I was just a few days ago, which is kind of funny to say because now I get to ship the best product I have ever shipped on top of a way better model, and my customers get a free upgrade. If GPT Image 2 is really 99% accurate on text and twice as fast, my apps just got better overnight, and so did yours. And

24the upgrade cost me $0 in engineering time. That's the beauty of building on a foundation model. When they go up, you go up, and that's the building public journey. We take the punch, we sit with it for a minute, and then we figure out what the punch was and how it was actually teaching us something we already should have known. Model quality is a commodity. Workflow is a moat. Niche is a moat, and customer trust is a moat. Build on those three things, and your business survives every model release because every model release just makes your workflow better. You know, if you're watching this and you're trying to figure out how to build your own AI apps this year, this is the exact stuff we cover inside of our community. Real builders shipping real products, sharing real numbers. And we crossed 200 members in the last 30 days, and the reason that

10the community keeps growing is because we're teaching people to build moats that don't disappear the next time OpenAI has a launch event. I'll put the link in the description. Come hang out, come join us. We have nine live calls a week, and we actually have a local LLM call that we do every Sunday to help you install your local LLMs and get them running. We also have unlimited one-on-one coaching calls where we can help you one-on-one, unlimited. So, check it out down below. You know, if you own the coast customer, you own the workflow, the model is going to change every 6 months, but your moat will not because you are building on something that you own. So, if you haven't subscribed to the channel, please do so already, hit the notification bell, and we'll see you in the next one. Have a blessed day.
