00This has the entire AI world buzzing right now and no one can figure it out. Yesterday, a mystery AI model just showed up on OpenRouter out of nowhere. No announcement, no press release, and no CEOs going on Twitter to hype it up. Kind of surprising, it just appeared. And the name is Hunter Alpha. That's it. Nobody knows who made it. That's kind of hilarious. But, the craziest part is this thing reportedly has 1 trillion parameters. So, to put that into perspective, ChatGPT has around 1.7 trillion parameters and that was considered massive when it first came out. Claude Opus, which is what I run my entire operation on, that's in the hundreds of billions range. So, trillion
45parameter model dropping out of the nowhere and out of the sky is kind of a big deal when you think about it. Let me back up for a second for anyone that doesn't even know what I'm talking about and what parameters are. Think of parameters like a brain cell of an AI model. The more you have, the more complex things the model can understand and reason about. It's not the only thing that matters, but it is like the raw horsepower of the engine. You still need to be a good at context engineering and prompt engineering around it to get a good output. But, it, you know, have you got to have good training data to build your project out. You got to have good fine-tuning. But, the more parameters generally means more capability, more nuance, and better reasoning on hard problems. So, you know, when Reuters picked this story up and you know, when Reuters starts
31covering a mystery AI model, you know it's not just internet hype, it's a big thing. So, this is real journalists going, "Wait, what the heck is this thing and where did it come from?" They're calling sources, you know, they're investigating, doing their due diligence. And the fact that nobody can get a straight answer is making this more interesting. What model do you think it is? Comment down below if you've seen it on OpenRouter. The leading theory right now is that it is DeepSeek's model version 4. And if you've been following the AI space at all, you know DeepSeek has been making waves. They're a Chinese AI lab that came out of nowhere last year and started competing with players like OpenAI and Anthropic. You know, in basically at a fraction of the cost. Their version 3 model was already pretty
16impressive, like genuinely good at coding and reasoning and following complex instructions. So, this version 4 with a trillion parameters, that changes pretty much everything. Here's what gets me the most. DeepSeek, you know, their whole thing has been doing more with less. That's kind of their motto. Their version 3 model was already way cheaper to train than what OpenAI or Google spent, like hundreds of millions dollars cheaper. So, if they jumped to a trillion parameters, either they found an even more efficient way to train or they got a lot more funding. Probably both, is my guess. Either way, it tells you that the race for bigger and better models is not slowing down at all. Real quick, before we keep going, if you're watching this and you want to actually
01build with some of these tools, not just watch videos about them, then you're going to want to check out our community down below, Shipping School. We have a full Claude code course, a full open Claude course, and four live bootcamps every single week where we actually help you get set up from scratch. Like actually set this thing up, not just watch a tutorial and figure it out by yourself. And we also provide one-on-one coaching so you could book a call with me, we could share screens, and I can help you get Claude code or open Claude running on your machine. That's it, no fluff. I built this community because watching YouTube's only gets you so far. We launched it just 3 days ago and we have over 55 members. You need people around you who are actually building, people who hold you accountable, and
46coaches who can help you when you get stuck. I'll put the link in the description down below. Get in now before the price goes up. Here's what I think is really interesting about the whole situation. And I want to be real with you because we're cutting straight to the meat and potatoes here, no fluff. You know, the fact that a model can just appear on Open Router with no branding, no marketing, no company attached, and the entire development community kind of goes crazy. That tells you something important where we are right now. We're at a point where the technology speaks for itself. You don't need a billion-dollar marketing campaign. You don't need Jensen Huang on stage doing a keynote how awesome things are, even though that was pretty cool. You don't need Sam Altman tweeting about it a week before launch. It just drops on Open Router and it's there. And, you know, you let the model do the talking. Let
31people test it, and the results will show. So, which is pretty cool if you think about it. I like that type of style. Just drop it, let people test it, and go from there. But, the internet caught on quickly. They figured out this model existed, and basically started testing with it for, you know, within hours. Benchmark results started appearing. Reddit threads exploded. That's the power of an open ecosystem. I'm going to tell you why this matters for builders like you and me. Like the people watching this channel and the people inside of our community, the people who are actually trying to build things with AI, not just watching from the sidelines. Every new model that drops is another tool for your toolbox. Think of it this way. Every time Claude drops a model, anytime ChatGPT is upgraded, these are instant upgrades in
17the performance of your business. The tools get better. It's like you're going from a basically a screwdriver to a drill. I guess that's one of my best analogies, but your tools are getting upgraded every single day, and it's important that you understand why and how and when these news releases come out so you can be on top of your game and learn how to apply these as fast as possible. So, when I started this journey, we had a basic GPT-4, and it was great, right? Everyone freaked out. You know, that was your basic one option. Now, you've got Claude, you've got Gemini, you've got Deep Seek. Google just launched their new Stitch uh product that basically redesigns their whole website. I mean, it's really hard to keep up at this point. You've also got Quinn running locally on your laptop
02and smartwatch. You got Llama and Meta. Oh my goodness, you got potentially Mr. Mystery Hunter Alpha thing that who knows where it's really from. Competition is driving these prices down and the capability up, and that is really incredible for us builders out there that are looking to build with AI. You know, I run 12 AI agents on the Mac Mini right now, and my entire content pipeline, my research, my community management, all of it runs through Open Claude with Claude under the hood, specifically Opus 4.6. The Rizza writes the outlines, the scripts, Inspect the Deck handles all the X stuff. Ghostface does the intel gathering every morning at 5:00 a.m., and the costs keep going down while the quality keeps going up. I also have a recursive a running loop that happens every single week. That pulls analytics from the YouTube API, X
48API, so the content gets better. Discards what what doesn't work and doubles down on what is working. So, basically, a year ago, running this type of operation would have cost thousands of dollars a month. Now, we're talking hundreds, and with local models like Quinn 3.5 getting better every single month, some of this stuff is basically free. So, I'm going to tell you something about Shipping School and one member that had shared something last week. They basically set up Quinn 3.5 running completely locally through a Llama on their MacBook. There was no API cost at all, and they connected it to Telegram through Open Claude. So, they got a fully local AI agent that can they could chat with, give it tasks, and have it research things for them, all running on their own machine with $0
33cost per month. That's pretty crazy. A year ago, that would have been science fiction, would have been like a Black Mirror episode. Probably still makes for a good one down the road. So, what does exactly a trillion parameter model mean practically? Like, come on. What How is that going to make me any better? Well, if 100 Alpha is legit, you're looking at a model that could probably handle extremely complex reasoning. Think like multi-step business analysis, where it has to like consider dozens of variables, or think like writing code that actually works on the first try for bigger, more complex projects. Think understanding entire codebases without losing context halfway through. Comment down below if that's happened to you. The context window is going to be interesting. We just got Claude going to
18a million tokens. If the new model has similar or better context handling with trillion parameters, that's crazy. Holy moly. That's a different league entirely. You could feed it an entire company's documentation, all the code, all the processes, all the customer data, and it could reason about all of it at once. Now, I want to talk to you about something that I think a lot are missing in this conversation. Everyone's talking about parameters, everyone's talking about who made it, what's going on, but the real story to me is the platform. OpenRouter is basically becoming the app store for AI models. Any developer, any builder, any type of person with a project can go to OpenRouter and pick out the best model for their use case. I love that. You're
03not locked into one company, you're not stuck for paying whatever OpenAI decides to charge you this week. You have options. And we all like options, right? And when you have a mystery model that just shows up and it's immediately accessible to every developer in the world, we're living in the future. This is exactly why I've been telling you guys to learn how to build with these tools right now. Not tomorrow, not yesterday, now in time. Start. Not when things settle down, not because, you know, things are just a little bit harder, you don't know if you could do it. Get that mindset out of your mind. You can do this very easily. You just got to start. Because things are moving fast and you know, if you wait 6 months, you're going to be far behind and it will feel impossible to catch up. That's exactly why we built the community. We
48just hit 95 members in 10 days and we're building real things with real people. We have now five calls every single week live to help you build your product. Go from zero to one as fast as possible. We're not just talking about AI and watching demos and going, "Yay, we're building things." We're actually shipping things and when a new model like this drops, the community goes wild testing it, sharing results, figuring out how to use it in their projects. That's the power of being in a group with people who are actually building the same time. If you're struggling to keep up with content, what I'm about to save you about 40 days worth of work. I built something called Content Machine. It's 10 AI agents that run on the Open Claw orchestration and they handle
34everything. Scripts, thumbnails, X posts, blogs, outreach, clips, newsletters, all of it. So, I went from 1,000 subscribers to 4,000 subscribers on YouTube in 7 days using this exact system. Every single morning I wake up and the content's already done. I spend maybe 15, 20 minutes reviewing and approving them and I move on with my day. It works for any niche, fitness, finance, real estate, marketing, whatever you are building and it is 100% completely customizable to your use case. So, you get the mission control dashboard, all of the cron jobs, everything I've built over the last 40 days helping me gain more and more people to subscribe and join the community. So, you plug in your own
20thing and it molds it to you. It learns how you talk and it writes so it doesn't sound like AI slop. $97 one-time. It's not a subscription. I'll put the link down below and you'll thank me later. Should you even care about Hunter Alpha? I think you should. You absolutely should. Should you drop everything and switch to it? That remains to be unseen. You could try it out. I would let the dust settle a little bit, get some more feedback on Reddit, see what other people are doing, you know, look at the benchmarks and see what fits even worth changing or experimenting with. You know, let people do the testing in real workflows. Maybe you could try it out with a simple cron job. You know, that's always my advice when the new models come out and it's served me well because there's usually a drop off after its initial release, aka ChatGPT or GPT-4. I
07remember when DeepSeek V3 dropped and everyone was like, "Oh, it's uh the ChatGPT killer." And it was impressive at the time, but the reality is for my workflow, Claude still wins because of the agent architecture, the tools that I use and the way it handles complex multi-step tasks in Open Claude. A new model has to actually be better at what I do every day, not just bigger on paper. But that's the beautiful thing about are right now in this AI space. You get to choose. You're not stuck with one option. The AI space is very competitive in a way that benefits us builders and the people actually using this stuff every day. Here's something else I want to touch on and I think it's really important, the security angle. When a mystery model appears and nobody knows who trained it, nobody knows what data went into it, nobody knows what
52safety measures were applied, and that should make you pause for just a second. I've been preaching AI security on this channel for months and Nvidia literally just built Nemo Claude just the other day and because of the enterprise world is, you know, basically terrified of running untested AI models in production, most of us builders should be, too. We need to make sure we're putting proper security checks in place. So, while this is exciting, be smart about it. Don't just plug in a mystery model into your production system. Test it in sandbox. Test it in a non-sensitive data environment first. Make sure you understand what it's even doing before you give it access to anything important. That's just common sense and it's the same advice I give to everyone in our community. I think that's what we're going to see over these next few weeks is more information
37coming about who actually built this thing. My money is on Deep Seek. Let me know if you know down below. I want to hear what you guys think. The timing makes sense, the parameter count makes sense, and the stealth drop style, that's exactly how Deep Seek rolls. I say to get a true test out of this model, use it. See how it works for you. Don't just believe what the benchmarks are saying. And whoever built it, the message is clear. The AI race is accelerating, it's not slowing down, it never has, and it never will. And the people who are going to win are the people who are building right now, not watching, not waiting, but actually building something. So, if you're someone who's sitting on the sidelines thinking about maybe getting into AI, maybe building something amazing, maybe learning how to use these tools, I'm telling you right now, the time is now. Every week there's a new breakthrough.
23Every week the tools get better and cheaper. And every week you wait, you're falling behind. So, we're living in the most incredible time to be a builder. I mean that in the most serious way. And then I'm so passionate about learning these tools and learning these new skills that are available to us. You know, I just come from a background of being an entrepreneur these last 6 years, and I'm applying my same logic of just taking that leap of faith and jumping and going all in. When especially when you have the passion for something. You know, I'm running these AI agents that create content and help me automate a lot of my businesses. And you know, they manage a lot of the community and back end stuff. And if I can do it, you know, I didn't go to college or computer science degree for any of this stuff. I'm just urging that if that's what's holding you back, like
09you don't have a technical background or you don't know how to get Cloud Code installed, it's okay. Just get started. You can uh download Open Claw right now and sign up for Open Router and connect your API key and start using these models now. Build your first AI automation. Build your first agent. Call it something amazing and get started because that's how you learn the best. In my opinion, that's how I learn the best is just doing things and that's important and there's going to be a big difference between people who think about doing something and actually doing it. So, if I can, you can absolutely keep your eye on this 100 alpha model, keep building and keep shipping. If you guys haven't subscribed already, please do because we release videos about six times a day and you need to stay up to
55date to the AI news. We'll see in the next one. Have a blessed day. Bye-bye.
